If you mean from the small outlet on the head to the bleed rail it’s too small diameter surely ?

Yes, if it will withstand petrol it will be fine with coolant .... just keep a eye on it

Talking of using fuel line as water pipe....

Did a coolant swap last week and then suddenly getting overheating issues... A bit of investigation about 80 miles from home I found out that my thermostat seal was shot and was letting air into the housing. After bodging that with a chunky elastic band I had knocking around I got home and did some investigations.
A line on the bleed rail had perished causing it to leak, I also found out my bleed rails shot as I took it off to check it over as I had the pipes off of it, the things rusted to hell and was blocked...:? Took it off and unblocked it, lots of nasty rust and years of grime inside, Unware me reinstalled it and found out it's a bit like the pope and it a bit hole-y so when running the van I had a nice fountain of brand new coolant in the back......
Was thinking would it be worth making one out of spare fuel line and connectors from a DIY store? would that be advised and has anyone else done that? If so what sorta diameter line we talking about?

New ones are expensive for what they are

Due to go down to Devon on Friday... fun times.
