Anti roll bar position

Post by Roydini »

Morning folks!

I am replacing the anti roll bar and drop link bushes on my van but a seed of doubt has crept in as to which way round the anti roll bar should go back in. I should have labelled it I know!

Could anyone with the same van/anti roll bar confirm if it goes this way:
https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/front-anti ... -23mm.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
so the bar curves downwards in the middle like we see in the brickwerks product picture, or the other way round, so that it curves upwards towards the chassis?
My van is a 1983 1.9 DG and I have the 21mm anti roll bar (not the 23mm as seen in the picture, although it looks identical I think).

Many thanks for any assistance.

Cheers!
Henry

Brilliant Big Herb! Thank you ever so much for that. Is that diagram from the Bentley?
