I have a 5 speed box which has the 4 speed code DY??

Post by grace72 »

How can my 5 speed box have the code DY, as according to RJES gearbox list that is a 4 speed box? It quite clearly says DY not DV which IS a 5 speed! Is it possible that 5 speed internals were put into a 4 speed main case?
