Can any one recommend a good brake flaring tool to use on the van. Need to renew a section of clutch pipe (6mm dia) and a section of brake pipe(4.75 mm dia).
needs to be small enough to use on sections still on the van and not mega expensive but i dont mind paying money for good quality tools.
Did a google search and this got good reviews but out of stock, and only does 4.75mm

Any recommendations? Thanks

Re: brake and clutch pipe flaring tool
I bought one on ebay I think - decent manufacturer.
Be aware though that these tools are only good for copper pipe, they are not suitable for re-flaring the original steel pipe
Frost auto tend to sell decent stuff, mine is similar to yours, but I think I have the option for different flare sizes.
If you are doing the clutch pipe, the kit from Brickwerks https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/clutch-pip ... opper.html has fittings to join pipe without needing a flare tool
I bought a couple of extra fittings, just in case I messed up

I got one like this from Machine mart. It is easy to use, small and compact.
