Just swapped the carb on my 1.9dg 1886
The po had put a long spring , through the bell housing hole, to somewhere on the carb.. alongside the throttle cable routing...
According to everything I see it’s not needed..
Does anyone have an idea why it’s there and what is was connected to..?
