Spent a couple of evening fitting the Speedshop pipe.
once fitted my rusty tinware looked poop so removed the rear exhaust and refurbed the tinware
noticed some separated engine mounts and fitted a new set and cleaned all the parts.
might do the shields black as it now looks a bit bright when looking down into the bay
but im really happy with the exhaust in both quality and fit.
Regards
Rick

looking good.
I thought about the speedshop but doesn't fit well with a 2.1.
shame they don't stay shiny.

Hi Itchy
Are you sure or do you mean not suited to the bigger capacity
mine is 1970cc ish as it had a big bore kit fitted when it was rebuilt
Have seen them fitted on the 2.1 !
much neater than the factory maze of pipes and I would think less restrictive too.
I went speedshop as it's a bargain and looks a lot better than anything else I could find sub £1200
Rick
PS I thought the silencer support bracket looked pants so reshaped it and reversed it so it bolts on out of view
much better

Re: Cleaned up my tinware and fitted speedshop exhaust
2.1 has an oil cooler so oil rilter is further out.
need to use a smaller oil filter which ai wasn't happy about.
anyway fine on a 1.9

Good work on the support bracket, I was just about to ask about it until you mentioned it. It is the only mod Speed shop should look into.
Nice clean engine bay, looking good.
