Hi,
Should this be here??
Anyway..
quick one.. when the van went for a MOT in September it failed its MOT with nearside rear wheel bearing and advisery for offside. Got it done and then did the offside myself.
After a month a drone came and me being me decided to check the offside for play, none. Checked nearside and the hub nut was not on tight. I tightend to 500nm.
Last few days the drone has returned, and lifted the van on sunday and found out that the side that they did has so much play you can have a kids playground there.. Anyway what now?? Is it likely that a hub would fail after 6 months?? I dont really trust them, and feel confident to do it myself its just finding the time to do it. I hate confrontation also.. what would you do one and all??

Re: Rear Wheel Bearing advice
Do you know what make of wheel bearing was fitted - I seem to remember that can make a significant difference

Re: Rear Wheel Bearing advice
Where did the replacement bearings come from? My understanding is that some of the stuff that's on the market is rebadged and of only moderate quality.

Re: Rear Wheel Bearing advice
Cheers both, just checked invoice, just says wheel bearing kit. Would have been local motor factors

Re: Rear Wheel Bearing advice
Replace with this then
https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/wheel-bear ... -rear.html
Depending on wear you may need to use some bearing fit fluid,as it says in the BW notes
