Engine cutting out

Hi all as the title I have a 1989 2.1 petrol fuel injected automatic and it has started cutting out when on full lock, it is a work in progress, new alternator , starter motor, new binnacle wiring it starts and runs, but will not idle very well any advice cheers Mawsy PS I hate electrics

do you have factory power steering ?

Check the connections onto the idle switch on the power steering pipe coming off the pump .

You will need to move/remove the alternator to access it.
