Thanks for the replies, the glow plugs are staying on for about 30seconds before I can hear the relay clicking off and the voltage drop . New fuel filter has been ordered to try this week.

New fuel filter has worked a treat! Not sure what was wrong with the JK one or If had not put it on correctly but the one from brickwerks has cured the issue for £7. Thanks everyone.

JK aren't called just krappers for nothing! There have been so many tales of woe after people have bought from them. Sometimes you have to use them though. How long had the JK one lasted? Was it a generic one?

Great stuff, took me a while to work out the problem on my JX (with help from these forum guys), and haven't had any more fuel problems, always got new filters from Brickwerks :)
