hi all.well its confirmed need a new head on james my 1.6td 92 trooper.looks like it will have to an AMC one .
have heard the exhaust valves wear on the stem where the collets fit ,does anyone know if this problem exist
or if so, has been rectified.thanks in anticipation a troubled man. :(

Doing the same myself right now on my 2.1dj

My mechanic recons when replacing 1 cylinder head it is important to replace gasket seals on both sides!

You think the same?

not very mechanicaly minded so might just fit and then check at about 20,000.

Kotsy I bought a "bare" head and swapped the valves etc over.
I dont think, so I'm not[do I exist?]
