VW Speedshop exhaust

anyone had trouble getting hold of the above company,I have emailed them and tried phoning them but it just keeps ringing, I want to try and find out what the warranty is on their stainless systems as mine has cracked unless anybody here knows what the warranty is, thanks

it seems the 'mounting bracket' has broken and that has led to the silencer box weld to crack as it has wobbled slightly with the excess movement

Have you got the early system with the tiny (inadequate) single-bolt "stirrup" bracket on the silencer?
I bought my first one s/h and it had cracks in the can radiating from there, I made a curved stainless pad to cover cracks and spread the load.
The later systems have a wide band clamp to hold the silencer.

no I think mine is a later one, it has been on for 5 years

just emailed them again but with the details of when and where it was fitted and just going to wait to see what they say, probably will be after Christmas now but have managed to stop the silencer box wobbling around on it's own for now, but looking at the bracket that has snapped it looks like it supports a lot of weight and the vibration of the engine has caused the bracket to break
