Oil cooler question

Hi, what’s the thoughts on an oil cooler on a 1600td worth doing, pointless, not nessasary?

The poor little JX works hard stuck in the back .. My thoughts it needs a bit of help so i put a front mounted oil cooler in .

It's generally viewed as a worthwhile upgrade for the JX in terms of lifespan of the engine. It's also worth having some extra cooling if you're planning to tackle any mountainous areas as the climbs are often a cause of engine temps getting a bit higher than is comfortable.
