noisy tappets
Hi can anyone tell me where there is a section on here which deals with tappet adjustment. Thanks
Re: noisy tappets
Have you tried typing "tappet adjustment" into the search box? Or http://www.ratwell.com/technical/HydraulicLifters.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: noisy tappets
Robs suggestion is the best guide to adjustment.
Although the hydraulic lifter or "tappet" is self adjusting it needs to be adjusted correctly to do it's job of self adjusting .. if you follow.
But another good thread is with CJH and his "1.9 to 2.1 am I being stupid" thread
