Got an electric fuel pump on a DG or DF?

Big lumps of metals and spanners. Including servicing and fluids.

dont waste money when you can just use a cheap facet pump which wont need a regulator and will do the job for about £15

Thanks, never been sure about the reliability of these cheaper units but could give one a go. It's still up to 6PSI which I would expect to be more than the manual pump so it's still not clear to me if I need a regulator.

Well put it this way I have two of these on two different DG carb engines , no regulators and no problems for more than 6 years ..... I can only speak from experience.
I know of of at least three others using the same , again no issues ....

If you are really worried about excess pressure get one of these 1.5 - 4 psi, rather than the higher flow / pressure version

This is a proper facet pump, rather than "facet style" Chinese copy

I forgot to mention, that the farcet pump pushes rather than pulls, so must be mounted next to the tank on the chassis rail where the filter already should be
