Anyone repaired their LDA themselves with one of these kits (or similar)?

This seller doesn't post to UK, anyone know where I can get one in the UK?

More digging and found this:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Reparatursat ... 2841682251" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
and this:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Reparatursat ... 2841682251" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Will investigate the actual LDA to see if I need the whole kit or just the membrane.

Re: LDA Repair (1.6 JX)
We ended up getting a decent secondhand one rather than a repair kit, as Dieselkontor were out of stock of new OEM ones - they actually own the machine that makes them.

Re: LDA Repair (1.6 JX)
I repaired mine by carefully grinding around the crimped joint and using a piece from a car inner tube of all things. Just sat it the pressurised side of the existing membrane and bolted it back together with 6 m4 nuts and bolts. Worked a treat! Cost pence and lasted over a year until I GTi’d the old girl.
Just a thought if you can’t wait for the proper bits.

Hi, I Got my kit from ebay and it came within a few days with clear instructions ( in English) including photos on how to do it. With care it is quite easy, you will need a grinder to take the lip off the LDA housing and drill your holes carefully as there isn't much space but It works well. the only thing i did for a belts and braces approach was a small smear of silicone right on the edge of the diaphragm, so there was a good seal where the body clamps it back into place. hasn't failed yet !! search ebay with this number 162841682251 £25.83
Hope this helps, Dan

Dan, that's really helpful. It may not come to that as it might be working, I just never remember seeing it moving so assuming not. Currently in the process of replacing a couple of glow plugs but once they're in i'll double check. .
