Just completed the longest run in the van, 250 miles mixed driving through central wales.
Temp gauge has always sat just to the right of the LED, so that left edge of needle is level with right edge LED. Warmer than my last one, but as it was stable assumed all okay.
Main header tank is always full to the brim, overflow level okay. Fan cycles on and off when you'd expect it too.
However on the extended drive it started to get a bit warmer. Traced to the radiator being around 50% full of air.
Taking out the bleed screw and revving it gets the air out, but when revs drop off, level drops back down again. As I'm by myself I can't run fast enough to rev then put the bleed screw back in.
As I'm confident the air is only in the radiator can I just fill it to the brim via the bleed hole?
