Just a thought

the cam gear in the picture i have fitted is the original VW item ,

the bolt on cam Gear by scat , does anyone know if that gear is thinner perhaps to move the mounting bolts away from the oil pump studs . Just a though that maybe they have incorporated that in to the design ,

Ok had the grinder out this morning
Bit of material taken from the rear oil pump studs and some taken off the head of the bolts Image


All spins freely now [THUMBS UP SIGN]

:D I thought you might do that - part of the reason why I asked how much actual interference there was
