gear linkage problems

hi people! i have a 1982 2l Aircooled and shes not very well. im just after a little help in gathering info on my gear linkage bushes. basically the bushes need replacing on my gear linkage and struggling to find places stocking the full repair kits, so it looks like im going to have to shop around and buy seperatley which is no bother, but theres that many different bushes flanges im wondering if anyone can shed light on some tips for me? to my knowledge these are the parts im going to need :
x2 flanges
mounting plates
bellows
shaft rod bush
selector shaft joint
pin/circlip for linakge
universal joint
any help is a bonus as im stabbing in the dark at the moment

You will have the early linkage if its an air cooled, some of the parts on your list are for the later style linkage. The important bush to replace is on the body hidden by the fuel tank, the fuel tank needs to be removed to replace that bush. The best thing to do is look at the 7zap.com site and click the vw symbol then type 2 and the year of your van and have a look at the early linkage diagram.
