Hello,

As I have my annual emissions controle (CT) next week, and my van is registered as a Camionette..

I had a look on line, to see about converting to a Carte Grise de Collection.

Basically the vehicle has to be standard and over 30 yrs old.

I filled out the form on line, and as I'm in the French tax system, the form was pre filled concerning my details,
with those of the van.
You just have to say what you want to do, then tick the 'I accept' box

You get an e mail straight back confirming the dossier and reference number.

I will have to present myself, with ID card, confirmation of adresse , the Carte Grise, the dossier reference and cheque or Visa card, to the local Prefecture.

A vehicule de collection, must not be used as a daily driver, has 1 big CT test every 5 years, and the vehicle can travel throughout Europe.

You get a 'Pastille grise' sticker for the windscreen to use in cities.

About 10 mins on line..

Cordialement
