I have read on forums this can be caused by the ICSU faulty. Should i check anything else? Where can i get a replacement please - cant find one anywhere!

Hi Mate,
friend of mine has been chasing this down for ages...
try searching on here or on google for fast idle...but the main culprit seems to be the temp 2 sensor

On my 2.1 WBX it turned out to be the sneaky little throttle position micro switch which over time had decided not to operate when the throttle was closed. I just tweaked it a bit with a long nosed pliers as if I remember correctly, I couldn't shift the screw.

I believe an air leak can also cause a raised rpm.
