Cheap pierburg carb fix
After having a problem with my carb and thinking it's gonna cost me a lot to get it rebuilt I spoke to a mate of mine at deva he said take carb off split it and go mad with carb cleaner and put it back together with new gaskets(manifold and gasket joining carb).l did this and the van has never run so well it's very smooth also the strong smell of fuel in the cab has gone and all for £7.50.Also it's a really easy job.

Aye, at great expense. If I need a throttle flap shaft rebushing I use Roger Ball in Clacton (old friend of mine and in the WIKI), give the carb a good clean and regasket and all is good.
