Brake drum run out
At my last MOT last August the tester said that there was a fair bit of run out on my drums and said that he was suprised I couldn't feel it through the pedal. It was an advisory on the MOT . I decided to remedy this with a set of new brakes which I fitted yesterday. They were Meyle brand. Unfortunately although braking performance is much improved, (new cylinders and shoes) I now have a definite pulsing under my foot when braking gently but cant feel it braking hard? Are these new drums no good or Have I done something else wrong!!!

Re: Brake drum run out
Is it your front brakes? Ie the discs warped this can have a similar effect on the brake pedal. When they get thin they get too hot and can warp.
