MOT center in Stafford

Post by Karen&co »

Hello,

I am having a mad moment and thinking of getting another T25 that we saw this morning. We're not getting rid of ours but it's a reasonable price and our children are keen to try the camper van malarkey :)

It needs an MOT so we won't be able to bring it home easily so I wondered if anyone could recommend a garage that is good with these old vans in that area that could do it for us?

Thank you
If you think you can or you think you can't either way you'll be right

If it were booked into an MOT station nearer are you not allowed to drive it from Stafford straight there?

I wasn't sure if we could do that? I'll look into it as it's so much easier if we can.

Thank you

If it's pre booked you're ok.

The only prerequisite with an MOT is it is 'a reasonable' distance away. Mind you, by the time they've established where you're going you'll probably be halfway there by then :) MY MOT place is 6 miles away with a least 20 MOT centres on the way, but its the only only thats prepared to let me go under lift with the tester. For me thats important. I like to know what may need doing the following year, not just on the day of the test.
