Number 4 clyd.

I've a 1.9 dg petrol engine,how to you get number 4 cyld. piston pin in? I've removed the water pump and have made a conrod hanger.

I use a rag carefully folded to hold the con rod and pull the rag out after the pin is in.

getting it in is a matter of good visual alignment and dexterity with both hands

if the engine is out of the van lay it on it's side it's much easier because gravity isn't fighting you.
