2.1 distributor used with carb

hi in putting my dj 2.1 on to carb can i use the distributor off the dj or will i have to use a dg one with vac advance thanks.

I used the DJ distributor.
But you can use the DG
AGG 2.0L 8V. (Golf GTi MkIII)

You need to blank off the extra spigot on the advance/retard on a DJ dizzy.

because you don't have a plenum chamber giving the correct vacuum for the second vacuum attachment but the carb may give a different vacuum to the throttle body so using the DG disi would probably be preferable as it is matched to the carb
the vacuum from the plenum chamber is not the same as the one from the throttle body and varies differently as well
