Oil buzzer and light - loss of power
I recently changed my water pump. I had also an intermittent oil buzzer after driving for an hour or so. Since replacement the oil light and buzzer go off all the time and there is a loss of power when this happens - always restarts OK. Replaced both low and high pressure senders.
Any ideas please?

There's a few buzzer threads, including one earlier today, have a read of those.
You are saying that there's a loss of power. That isn't normal, the buzzer is simply a warning, there's no linkage to an ECU that would adjust the running parameters.
I would be tempted to say that the loss of power is caused by bearings starting to bind / sieze caused by the low oil pressure, but once that starts it doesn't cure itself, only gets worse, so seems strange that it "restarts OK"
Any knocking, sometimes the buzzer is giving a real warning ?
What happens if you simply let the engine idle - is the oil light on then ?

Idles fine, no light or buzzer
. No noise and actually sounds really nice. Feels like someone is starving fuel when trying to accelerate.

If the oil warning light isn't on when warm at idle the it seems oil pressure is actually OK and you're getting a false warning, probably a wiring issue. If you want to silence the buzzer, try earthing the high pressure wire until you want to spend the time finding out where the issue is.
I'm struggling to identify why the power would drop off when the buzzer sounds. The only thing I can think of is perhaps some type of short going on with the wire to the coil and the tacho wire.
If you earth the high pressure wire it'll be interesting to see if the performance loss disappears.

I suggest you first look at the sender at the bottom of the water pump pulley and see if you have broken the sender or dislodged or damaged the wire , as the BoD circuit requires the input from this sender to work correctly
The buzzer will come on when you rev higher than 2000rpm if is not getting a signal from this sender , or indeed if you have low oil pressure .
Get the oil pressure checked .

Don't know how to put this without causing offence or sounding stupid but going ahead anyway:
My van always seems to go a bit better just after an oil/filter change and feels almost like a new vehicle when an MOT is successful even though I know that nothing has been altered.
On the other hand when I hear a suspicious noise or think I spot smoke from the exhaust or something like that some strange force seems to lift my foot from the throttle without conscious action on my part.
Just to clear this up in my mind what are we talking about in perceived power loss percentage wise?

It is as if it runs out of fuel. No acceleration at all. Revs die away.
I am going to check fuel lines but it is suspicious that it starts when oil light/alarm sounds. Don’t know what links the two - coincidence? Plans are:
- Check oil pressure
- Check fuel Injectors
- Check oil pump
- Clean connectors
Is it worth changing oil and filter anyway?

Easiest thing will be to earth the wire for the pressure switch.
If there's a relationship you'll have permanent misfiring. You won't if there isn't.

Just measured oil pressure - had to wait 2 weeks to get a kit!!
Oil pressure starts to act up about 3000 revs.
