Fuel tank volume and fuel consumption

Post by Paradise City »

Just wondering what kind of fuel consumption you guys are getting?

I have a 2.0l air-cooled and am averaging 19mpg. I recently installed an electric fuel pump and it was pretty much the same as that before I installed it.

Does anyone know the capacity of the fuel tank on that model? My fuel guage shows empty after about 30l used but I thought the tank was around 60l capacity (or else the fuel guage is faulty).

Thanks

Hi,
We get 20 to 22 mpg, but normally nearer 20 with a CU auto and I normally fill up after 200 miles, I am sure I could push it a bit but I start to get twitchy about running out.
Hope that helps :ok

About 20mpg is about average, if you drive like a nun you can make 25mpg.
The fuel tank capacity is 60 ltrs
