Rear Springs

Post by blakeys80 »

I have simple question for you lovely people. Having removed these rear springs from my van a few months ago, I got round to thinking about painting them today. However I can see they are different types, is this because of the weight (furniture etc) on one side of the van, or just that someone has gotten a replacement at some point?

Cheers folks.Image

if he wants but they are not the same as OEM springs which have two spring strengths i.e. progressive

the spring is thinner at the ends than in the middle as the left one is, right one is same diameter all the way

I was planning on refitting the standard springs, but with having the odd pair, and while renewing the shocks as they are shot too, I might as well sympathetically lower it while I'm at it.

Cheers :ok
