Gearbox front Bush replacement

Post by Whitevanman »

Mine is off the van and looks like the original. It's OK but starting to part slightly. I'm planning to replace it but is the replacement pressed in or can it be done with a vice etc at home?

Thanks, can't find any previous posts which suggests not many gay changed?

New ones come in two pieces, so just slot into place. Getting the old one out, is a different story!

Thanks. I've only found Powerflex in two pieces. Can't see why that bush needs to be stiffer?

Brickwerks do a 1 piece bush for 1/2 the price. Just wanted to know if it can be fitted without a press?

Thanks
