A little wet mark on the mat and a squeeky clutch pedal means I'll be changing the master cylinder when it arrives.
I've never done it before, is there anything I should be wary of or helpful tips please.
Is it a carbon copy of doing the brake one (as per ItchyFeets thread http://forum.club8090.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=162785" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ).
Is there anything I will need that isn't in the tool box (on BW site the part also shows a clutch refil hose- whats this for?

Cheers Itchy,
Mine seems to be weeping from the bolt directly above the lower hose!. Cant see if its tracking from somewhere else.
May be bet to change the refil hose at the same time.

Re: Fitting Clutch Master Cylinder.
Squeaky probably means a bit of lubrication needed on the pedal bush.
Creaky (and slightly rough movement) probably means a worn guide sleeve on the gearbox. (been there, done that)

Did mine for the first time the other weekend. Pretty straightforward but just need to go by touch as it's a pain trying to see what you're doing under "there". http://campwestfalia.com/vanagon-clutch ... placement/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Cheers, I will bare that in mind.
My cylinder has just started leaking a little bit so it needs changing anyway. I did spot the sprng right at the top of the peddle lever had an oil on it - I thought it was clutch fluid at first but putit down to being lube (I will have a look in better light).
