Quick update re: the engine - i've noticed a very small oil leak for the n/s rocker cover (literally 2 drips onto the concrete) and it's slightly wet when i felt underneath at one end of the cover. Not had this before but i'm using neoprene gaskets so wondered whether this might be an issue (other side is fine). Will be investigating at the weekend so will provide an update.

Took her for an MOT today and she went straight through - tester was impressed with the work completed and commented on how nice it sounded. I’m probably going to get it set up on a rolling road just so it’s proper sweet and there’s a few bodywork pieces I want to get sorted for my own piece of mind so will be looking to get this done next year.

and even before a fresh MOT you need enough money to buy tax and insure plus a driving licence ( sorry Justin :D )

Took the old girl over to the great Arron Tucker at HT Racing behind Brands Hatch for him to tweak the carb. He was pleased with how it was running and just said that the tappets may just need slight adjustment. You'll be pleased to know that she's pushing out an earth shattering & healthy 70.5 bhp at 3777rpm:

Nah, I'm sure she's better than that, I can't see any add back for driveline drag so what you are seeing is at the wheels, not flywheel. (Torque is down as well as peak power)

If you want a sweepstake I'll offer up 83 hp at the flywheel.

Are you happy with that :?:

I just looked at your photo in close up. I thought that was your garage, not the RR. I had a little chuckle at the ratchet straps being used for T25 power :rofl

83 at the flywheel is good enough for me mate!!! Haha, yeah I did say to Aaron to be careful with the power, he may never have seen anything like it! :pimp
