1990, 1.6 turbo post-starting problem

Postby Martino » 03 Oct 2017, 11:09

Hi
I have a problem that occurs after starting - starts fine after leaving 20 seconds to warm( - think relay is not original as light does not go out).
Get to end of road and when braking, van goes to idle then will not increase revs to pull away again, gentle dabbing of accelerator will eventually get a response.
Thinking fuel starvation?
Any ideas?
Thanks

Sounds like the pump is pulling air - any bubbles in the lines?

Can't see any air in the lines - would this be a cracked fuel pipe somwhere? Once warmed up it runs fine and dandy.
Sorry for delayed response - thought no one was bothered.
Thanks for replying
