Van has been running really rough lately, especially when I am asking for a bit of power when accelerating, it seems as if it is starving of petrol. When I can build it up to high revs, the problem is not so bad.
Local mechanic said to check if the swan neck enrichment nozzle is giving a squirt when accelerator pushed hard over. Tried this and nothing came out.

Is this the cause and any ideas on how I can sort it ?

I have basic mechanical skills.
