Hi, I am still looking for that number for the advance for the pump... :run

Got terrible problems starting the engine in a cooler region than mine with 1.00 mm, and choke would not make any effect.

Now I am at 0.89 mm but still not starting well even when choke is doing effect (takes like 4 turns) And power is a bit low I think.

I don't want to miss more with the pump bolts etc... Please help.

My timing is set at 1.05 ( didn't realise when doing it, must have slipped!) But it runs better than 1.0, engine pulls well and starts from cold without advance lever. Sometimes difficult to start when hot but I'm sure that's battery and glow plug related.

Thanx for your info quattrodave.
I Will wait for more opinions.
I really think is more around .9 than 1.... since around 1 starter does not do effect, lets see
what do others tell.
