Idle speed changes when the engine is hot

Post by Bubble Meister »

Whenever I have had a good run the idle speed changes! Generally it will have increased to around 1000rpm. Rarely, it will drop to around 700rpm and only manage to idle. If I leave the engibe off and allow it to cool idle returns to its setting
- currently 850rpm.

I assume its the carb but can only think that the throttle is stinking open but, when idle is low, it can't physically go any further due to the idle stop screw. Confused!!
