Early Water Pump?

Post by meggles »

I am 99.9% certain the pic is of an early water pump, however, looking at some listings it states late! Can any of you out there confirm this is definitely an early one. My van is a 1985 and a mix of early and late parts. Thanks

btw, I have found out why the temp gauge reads low... no thermostat fitted! Just hope there isn't a sinister reason for that!!

Yes, not that easy is it? Tbh it wasnt as difficult as I thought though. Had to grind an Allen key shorter to fit behind crankshaft pulley though.
It's the seals I'm concerned about. Don't want to be waiting for any I didn't realise I needed! Thanks for reply. :ok
