Leaking Master Clutch Cylinder

Post by crazymilk »

Hi
Found out of the weekend that my master clutch cylinder is leaking.

Seems pretty straight forward to replace however I notice when looking around for the parts you have a choice of just the cylinder or the cylilnder with brake warning light and servo.

Do I need that or the cylinder on its own?

Thanks

Sorry also forgot to add that this has happened after fitting a new clutch/pressure plate bearings ect. I also notice that the clutch release arm (which attached to the slave cylinder) is in the upper most position and does not move down when I depress the clutch pedal.

I am assuming the reason is the leaking master cylinder and not having enough pressure to push the arm down being all new stiff parts (and hence why it has gone now)
