Weekend jobs

Post by seanmc1970a »

I've started to use the van as my daily drive in this cool weather, so need to address a few jobs.
Firstly the vans getting a bit sluggish in the morning or when left to get cold. Usually I just warm it for a few min and all's good, lately though it taking 7~8 attempts to start and the starter fails to turn. If I leave her for 5min, then the starter is okay ???

Starting to smell very rich, I know it's not to be fiddled with unless I can check exhaust gases, but is there anything I can do to tide me over.

Handbrake needs adjusting any tips. I do have the Haynes manual .

Change coolant, been awhile

Any advice welcome
