Greetings. I've searched the forum & a good few other places, but have not come up with an answer as yet. I am trying to get the right set up on a digifant 2.1DJ WBX engine. I've swapped engines from the stardard MV & at the same time, placed the old distributor to the new block. This system is digitally mapped, so the distributor does not have any advance to retard system as the usual system seems to have (I.e., vacuum advance/retard or internal advance weights). Whilst the new DJ engine runs beautifully, it really doesn't have the sort of power and grunt that my 86 2.1DJ has, this system running on Digijet with a traditional distributor. Does anyone have any experience or leads as to tweeking the system to get some more power out of the engine? Seems to drive exactly the same way as the MV did which wasn't really the object of the sap over!
Many thanks in advance.
