Hi all, I have a spare 1.6td engine which i am in process of stripping down and rebuilding. During dismantling of the turbo noticed these couple of cracks inside
This i think explain this engines oil burning problem the guy who gave me this motor said he could not find out the problem.
My questions to this is, would a used outer shell be of use to replace this (i have one) as i believe this is totalled. And the other question to this is, failing to acquire a reasonable repair to the turbo, can I downgrade the motor back to non turbo, if so what would it entail?
