Re: Rebuild Thread (Probably)
Thanks guys. It looks as if the work I put into my melling pump was a bit of a waste. I'll probably go with an o-ringed pump if I can get my hands on one from Marco or elsewhere. In the meantime I'll take out the new one I put in and maybe try to improve the pressure a bit.

RJ Volks Performance do the Gene Berg oil pump, but it's pricey at £115.00:

Thanks 300CE & Paul. I have bitten the bullet and have gone with a Marco Mansi pump. Oil pressure is one thing I'd like to get right and I like the idea of a 30mm pump with o-rings either side.

Re: Rebuild Thread (Probably)
I'm just catching up on this thread.
Gruesome pic removed from my thread. it was a bit off-putting when you're looking for oil pump stuff.
Best of luck with it Ciaraneng.
Will be interesting to see how you get on with Marco's pump.

Thanks BBB. I've learned a lot from reading your 'Not a restoration' thread and your posts. I'll let you know how the new pump goes.bigbadbob76 wrote:Best of luck with it Ciaraneng.

And belated condolences ( I joined in late Aug). I hope 2019 is a better year for you.

Don't forget with a 30mm pump you need to grind the sides off the cover plate to clear the cradle.

Thanks Ciaraneng.
I've not been doing much to the bus lately but I do enjoy a good re-build thread.
Glad my posts help you, others re-build threads certainly helped me. it's always good to see what others are doing and how they tackled it and the suppport on here is amazing.
