radiator bleed valve
At last I plucked up the courage to put new coolant in today following Rowsey,s guide. First problem is my bleed bolt on top of the radiator tuns both ways but not in and out. ( Tight or loose) Is this normal and is it a case of maybe half a turn is open and back sealed? I,ve managed to get a trickle of water out at running temp but nothing much. Then put heater controls on full and I think the cable snapped and my heater is now stuck on full heat. Yay. I love my van but sometimes I do wonder, do I wish I had £75k for a new one, corse not.

Re: radiator bleed valve
The radiator bleed screw is just a bolt that screws in/out,well it does on mine.sounds like it could be stripped threads if doesn't loosen or tighten.i would have thought it would have leaked before the coolant change though if that was the case.
