Why are these so rare and expensive!!!
Bought a used for mine, turns out to be different, the silencer has threaded flange for the elbow pipe to it and it's slightly shorter, presume it's for a 2.1??
Anyway on the lookout for a new one?
Anyone bought one recently??
There's a few on fleabay, under a t3 exhaust search for around 50, brickwerks are 90 and out of stock.
Any pointers?
Cheers

Make up an adaptor and switch to a big bike can. Mine only costs about £25 to replace. See further down this page: http://wiki.club8090.co.uk/index.php/Exhausts_Custom" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I was faced with the same problem a few years back after trying to removed a rusted and corroded tailpipe and after sleeping on the issue overnight, decided I'd have a go at fitting something more readily available which brought the price down. I also got a slight performance increase as a result. That alternative is replacing the lot for stainless at around £500 but in my view you'd have to own the vehicle for a couple of decades to get your money back.
To some extent, the same can be said of the radiator. As they're on limited runs, the price tends to be twice or three times the price of other radiators.

Can't say for certain but I reckon with a little fettling this could be used:

Think it could be a little small to sit within the original saddle but if a support could be made it would be a cheap alternative, although it may be a little louder.

Most things can be made to fit. Go for it. At least replacements will be WAY cheaper.

Bike cans are the most readily available and some are very close or the same as the exising 3-bolt spacing.
