I checked that the 2nd butterfly/choke operated correctly and when it did i checked the cable underneath at the pedal end and took nearly an inch out of the slack, bobs your uncle!

Say goodbye to the fuel economy figures you used to get by only using half your throttle!

its actually not going anywhere at the minute with the overheating issues (see other thread) haha

Yeah, saw that. If it's been bone dry, my money is on an air lock, and possibly a blockage, from rusty deposits. Flush it out, then bleed it 'vigorously'!

But I'm no expert - lucky guess with the throttle cable!
