Early Pierburg 2E3 working automatic choke

Postby WasserBoy » 14 Feb 2020, 14:56

Hi, is anyone got a early Pierburg 2E3 automatic choke they want to sell? I have one but my aluminium casting has come to pieces from corrosion so require a replacement. I say early as i know my carb is a earlier model, maybe all the auto chokes are the same, i am not sure on that one. Ideally in or close to Manchester or willing to post. Cheers.

I have two carbs. One from early 85 camper and other from late caravelle

Both have same 256 number marked on choke body.
I thinks it really doesnt matter. They look identical.
