Yes its very strange that the 91-94 k-jet 2.5i isn't listed.
Kai, your 1996 will be the same spec as my 1995: SA Motronic (no lambda, MAP sensor from 1Z Audi diesel, Golf 3 throttle pot, T4 2.5 efi plastic fuel rail, Audi 200 2-piece exhaust manifold with expensive stainless bellows connector etc etc
The engine is a real VAG parts bin job, with a bit of local market thrown in for good measure (air filter and inlet elbow being prime examples)
