AGG engine number

Post by rollercoaster »

Hoping I might get some help, I have to change my V5.
Best I can see the engine number on my AGG is 02G98 or 02698
does this make sense? which is the likely one?

Mine is AGG then 6 numbers as copied from the golf log book, it’s 1984cc too. You will need a letter from a reputable establishment also to say it’s been installed as they won’t believe you otherwise!
Cheers, Bert.

Thanks that will work.
I got a letter yes, but it says they read it as one or the other!
Obviously they are unsure, but if I tell them its supposed to be 6 numbers,
they can re-write the letter,
as DVLA wont respond well to ambiguity!
