Warning regarding Subaru diesel replacement engines

Post by Troopy »

Did a search for this and couldn't find anything so not sure if it is general knowledge, but the Legacy diesel boxer engines (EE20 I think) from 2008, 2009 and possibly 2007 have a known problem with the crankshaft that seems to affect a high number of cars.

How do I know this? Because my new Legacy went bang last week :( so started looking into it and this is what I found out: http://www.uklegacy.com/forums/index.ph ... ent-785281.

Just a heads up to anyone looking at fitting one of these :ok
