Aaz sump gasket. With or without Wingate?

Post by lefty67 »

Going to order a rubber sump gasket from bw. They appear to do two different ones. One with and one without a wingate tray. Which one would be the preferable.
Many thanks dave

Windage is where the spinning crank tends to suck up or hang onto oil. This is bad news for any engine, so anything that helps to keep the oil in the sump and away from the crank is a good thing, especially with a laid-over engine as found in these vans.
