Aaz exhaust

Post by lefty67 »

I have hole in the exhaust pipe between the manifold and back box unfortunately it doesn't look very repairable plus the rest of the pipe towards the manifold is delaminating.
Is it possible to buy this section off the shelf or will I need to get one made up? If so where from.
Many thanks dave

It depends if you have the standard JX exhaust, or something else.

I initially thought it was the jx set up but not too sure now.
The intermediate section on it now doesn't look like the jx one although it might have been fettled to fit.
Going to have another look tomorrow in the daylight.

I think this is the one I need as mine goes into a sleeve on the back box.

I put one of these on my 1.6 cs over 3 years ago -

The complete system came with fitting kit for £60 and was delivered from Poland within a week.

Don't know if any of these in the attached link will work on an AAZ....... but the link to the polish supplier might help someone else looking for an exhaust

fitted perfectly and good quality -

sold it in as new condition with the engine earlier this year - 3 yrs on from fitting

Best

Matt

There is one heck of a difference in bore between the CS exhaust pipe and the 1Y so you need to start from which exhaust manifold has been fitted to the engine and work from there. ( I would be expecting the AAZ pipe to nearly/as big as the 1Y one if AAZ manifold )
